Sandeep Arora is the Senior Vice President – Transformation and Shared Services at XPO Logistics. In this role, he leads the global finance transformation strategy for XPO. He is also responsible for the design and execution of an agile Global Business Services organization that aligns with XPO’s growth goals and is rated as best-in-class on efficiency and effectiveness measures for all processes under its management.; Sandeep has over 25+ years of diverse global experience in areas of Global Business Services, finance transformation, technology transformation, global outsourcing, P/L management, business development, operations re-engineering and risk management. Through his multiple leadership assignments in India, Australia and USA, Sandeep has driven the implementation of long-term strategies, improved efficiencies and technology enhancements in both owned and outsourced environments. ; Sandeep joined XPO from Mondelez International where he was the Global Operations & Capabilities Lead for Mondelēz Business Services (MBS). In this role, he led global operations and was also responsible for the design and execution of a robust, best-in-class eco-system of operations capabilities to enable performance management & reporting, enterprise risk management, global contract/ vendor management, LEAN and robotics enabled continuous improvement etc. across a 4,000 FTEs strong captive and partner managed MBS organization.; Prior to Mondelez, Sandeep held leadership positions at ADP - leading their finance transformation initiative and at Xerox Business Services where he was the SVP of Operations/COO for a $ 200M (EBITDA – 22%) finance & accounting outsourcing (FAO) portfolio of Fortune 500 clients. In this role at Xerox, he led customer experience and profitability of this portfolio of clients. He also led service delivery at FAO's global mail-rooms and it's accounting COEs in India and Manila where he was responsible for driving consistency in outcomes and enhancing the quality, efficiency and employee engagement across the entire range of FAO processes delivered by over 3,500 team members at these COEs. ; Prior to his stint at Xerox Business Services, Sandeep was the CFO and Head of the Planning Centre of Excellence at American Express responsible for leading a global analytics KPO unit and overseeing critical finance decision support to all of the Company’s Staff Groups and Utilities (annual spend of $ 3B). He led companywide reengineering programs including the optimization of a global call centre footprint by consolidating existing centres and migrating call volume to vendor operated sites out of the Philippines and India. ; Sandeep has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and is a member of the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
